The Turnpike Gallery regularly hosts free drop-in art & craft workshops for families. Come along to meet an artist and try new creative activities inspired by our exhibitions, local heritage and environment. Suitable for families with children aged 5 and over.
Saturday Family Workshops at The Turnpike Gallery
Our free drop-in Saturday art sessions for families continue throughout 2026. Suitable for everyone aged 5 and over, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. More details to follow, but here are the dates:
- Saturday 24th January, 10.30 to 12.30
- Saturday 28th February, 10.30 to 12.30
- Saturday 28th March, 10.30 to 12.30.
February half term at The Turnpike Gallery
Fun creative activities with an artist during half term! Suitable for families with children aged 5 and over, booking essential via Eventbrite.
- Tuesday 17th Februay, 10.30am to 12.30pm
- Wednesday 18th February, 10.30am to 12.30pm
- Thursday 19th February, 10.30am to 12.30pm.
