Call out for artists: Half Term Family Workshops

The Turnpike Gallery is planning a series of October half term workshops for families as part its Drumcroon Print Exhibition, on display until March 2026. We are looking for artists to lead imaginative creative workshops for children and their families based on three artworks we have selected from the exhibition. We are particularly interested in innovative ideas that think on a large or 3D scale - this may take the form of one collaborative piece that everyone works on together. For full details and how to apply, please read our Call out for artists - October half term.

Please include a copy of the equality and diversity monitoring form with your application. Please send your application and any queries to  TheTurnpikeGallery.

Creative Community - Call out for Young Creatives

The Turnpike Gallery is looking for 8 young people aged 16 to 25 to join its curatorial team as part of a 6 week project working on the Drumcroon Exhibition. Members will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and be part of the Turnpike gallery programme while taking part in creative activities. This is your chance to learn new skills and experience what it’s like to work in a professional art gallery!

If you'd like to join us, simply complete our expression of interest form (external link).
